New River Voices Choral Society presents their Potluck Dinner on Monday, August 10, 2026 at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Christiansburg, VA.

After a short summer break, New River Voices Choral Society is excited to announce the kickoff of our fall term! As we begin our fourth year of making music together as a community choir, we hope that you will join us!

We are kicking it off with a Potluck Dinner and preview of this semesters' music. If able, please bring a covered dish, hors d'oeuvres, or dessert to share!

Our potluck and preview is about 85% a time to socialize, 10% to preview the pieces planned for the upcoming semester, and the last 5% to discuss ideas and thoughts for the semester ahead.

All are welcome. Open to all members of the community regardless of age or formal music knowledge and education.

The majority of our singers started off not knowing anyone in the group, and many wonderful friendships have blossomed over the last three years. So, please, don’t be shy or afraid to show up by yourself.

Drinks, cutlery, plates and napkins will be provided.

Please do not let the inability to bring something keep you from attending.

The Salvation Army Worship Center is located at 1125 Roanoke Street in Christiansburg, VA.
