Sustainable Blacksburg presents their August Lunch and Learn titled "How to Garden...When Deer are Everywhere" on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Blacksburg Library offered in person and virtually.

The New River Valley Master Gardeners will discuss various ways to deter deer from the garden. They will cover physical barriers, chemical deterrents, scare tactics, and deer resistant plants. We will also have time for you to ask questions and share what worked (or didn't) in your garden to deter deer.
