Christiansburg Recreation Center presents Montgomery County, Virginia 2.50K Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the United States as well as Montgomery County, Virginia, which is one of just two localities in the Commonwealth of Virginia also celebrating 250 years in 2026. Join us for the MCVA 2.50K Family Fun Run/Walk!

The first 250 registered participants are guaranteed a finisher's commemorative Montgomery County, VA 250 shirt.

The 2.50K is a loop from the Christiansburg Rec Center along the Huckleberry Trail with a turnaround along the trail at the halfway point.

Registration ends on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Participants are encouraged to dress in honor of both Montgomery County's and America’s once-in-a-generation 250th anniversary celebration by showing off your patriotic pride with creative looks inspired by American history, heritage, and the spirit of the nation.

The Christiansburg Recreation Center is located at 1600 North Franklin St in Christiansburg, VA.
