The Town of Floyd wraps up their 9th Annual Floyd Small Town Summer event series with a Honky Tonk Dance Party with the Southwest Virginia Honky Tonk All-Stars on Thursday, August 13, 2026 outside at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park.

The Honky Tonk All-Stars featuring Redd Volkaert, Rachael Hester, Silas Hamilton and many more along with openers Jesse Smathers and Nick Goad.

From country and western-swing to jazz and rock, Redd Volkaert is considered a true giant of country music and the Telecaster guitar. Redd is a Grammy-winner and a guitar-playing legend who is renowned throughout the country music world and beyond. Redd is joined by country-western all-stars, Rachael Hester on guitar and young pedal steel phenom Silas Hamilton on pedal steel, plus Adam Clark and Chris Blankenship.

Openers Jesse Smathers and Nick Goad are tradition bearers and strong voices in bluegrass music from Southwest Virginia.

There will also be a ton of Kids Zone activities including petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, bubbles, crafts, yard games and more.

The Small Town Fall Festival Event Series is free and open to the public.

The Town of Floyd offers this series of free events to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in downtown Floyd, VA. Featuring music, movies, face-painting, inflatables, games, food and beverage and special activities presented by a variety of community organizations from June 4, 2026 until August 27, 2026.

Bring your lawn chair(s) and/or blanket.

Gates will be open and access provided to the public starting at 6:00 PM.
