The 19th Annual Floyd County Tractor Fun Run will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 starting and ending at the Arlie Thompson Farm in Floyd, VA.

Event Schedule:
• 8:00 AM: Registration Opens
• 10:00 AM: Tractor Fun Run Begins

Gear up for an incredible day of community, camaraderie, and big wheels! The day begins at the Arlie Thompson Farm on Route 221 in Floyd, Virginia. As the tractors gather and prepare to depart, there is a sense of anticipation that can only be found in a community event rooted in tradition. The procession makes its way down Main Street in Floyd, where local residents line the streets to wave and welcome the riders. Their enthusiasm is unmistakable, reflecting the pride and appreciation the community has for this annual event.

From there, the ride settles into a relaxed pace, traveling the scenic back roads of Floyd County. At approximately 12 miles per hour, participants have the opportunity to truly appreciate the beauty that often goes unnoticed in everyday life. Rolling farmland, peaceful pastures, abundant wildlife, including deer and, on occasion, even a black bear, and breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains create an unforgettable experience.

There will be a lunch break at Peaceful Settings Farm. Participants should pack their own lunch. After lunch, the tractors once again rumble to life as riders set out on the final leg of the journey on their way back to the Arlie Thompson Farm.

This year, every single mile we cover is driven by a deep purpose. This year, we are proud to sponsor local youth Brady Donahue and Hammond Bary. Both brave boys are currently fighting tough health battles, and they need our community in their corner. 100% of our energy goes toward lifting up two incredible local families and helping with their medical expenses.

Whether you are navigating your favorite tractor, riding along on a wagon, or cheering from the sidelines, your presence makes a massive impact for Brady and Hammond!

We will also have fantastic door prizes up for grabs, generously donated by the Floyd County Farm Bureau.

Admission is $20.00 per participant including all tractor drivers & riders with children under 14 riding for free.

Day of registration opens at 8:00 AM with wagon spots first come, first served. Arrive early to kickstart your day with fresh donuts and hot, fresh coffee.

The Arlie Thompson Farm is located at 992 Christiansburg Pike, Floyd, VA.
