The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech presents Cube Fest 2026 held over three days starting on Friday, August 21, 2026 through Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Immerse yourself in the adventure of sound at Cube Fest, Virginia Tech’s premier biennial spatial music festival. From intensely musical to delicately digital, Cube Fest’s international creators speak with dramatic originality.

The 2026 edition focuses on spoken word, celebrating innovative composers forging rich connections to poetry, soundscapes, and human expression. From intensely musical to delicately digital, Cube Fest’s international creators speak with dramatic originality.

Saturday Schedule:
• 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Tesseract Jukebox (Plays a loop of curated spatialized audio compositions) - No Registration
• 1:00 PM: Earworms and Auditory Explorations (Interactive Discussion) - No Registration
• 5:00 PM: Studio Experiences II (Curated Works without Live Performances) - No Registration
• 7:00 PM: Sonic Performances II (Live Performances) - Registration Required
• 9:00 PM: Playback Experiences II (Curated Works without Live Performances) - Registration Required

Admission is free for all Cube Fest 2026 events though tickets are limited.
