The Boys From Carolina are a driving traditional and contemporary bluegrass band deeply rooted in the rich musical heritage of North Carolina. Bringing together a powerhouse lineup of veteran musicians from the southeastern bluegrass scene, the band boasts a collective performance history that spans well over a century of picking and singing. Originally crossing paths and collaborating through regional roots and organizations like the Friends in Bluegrass association, the group united around a shared passion for preserving the authentic, high-lonesome sound of the Appalachian foothills while injecting it with a crisp, contemporary energy.

Musically, the group is highly regarded for its stellar instrumental command and an extraordinarily versatile vocal style. While dynamic banjo rolls, soaring fiddle lines, and soulful dobro work form the backbone of their instrumentation, it is their vocal arrangement that truly sets them apart.
