Description:
Virginia Cooperative Extension and Live Work Eat Grow presents Pollinator Count Event titled "Who's Buzzin' Around The Garden" on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Hale Community Garden in Blacksburg, VA.

Join us to learn how to identify the pollinators you might find buzzing around your garden and how to support them!

You'll also get to become a citizen scientist and help in collecting data for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census. You'll use the information you learn about different pollinators to observe a plant for 15 minutes and identify the pollinators that visit it.

Registration is not required.

All are welcome. We hope to see both adults and youth participate.

The Hale Community Garden & Roper Solar Greenhouse is located at 215 Maywood Street in Blacksburg, VA.
