Virginia Tech, the Blacksburg Partnership and Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. present the Kick-off On College Ave. before the Virginia Tech vs. VMI football game on Friday, September 4, 2026 on College Avenue in downtown Blacksburg, VA.

It’s time to kick off the fall season in Blacksburg!

Join us on College Avenue for an evening filled with live music, a beer garden, face painting, giveaways, shopping, and plenty of fun as we celebrate the start of another exciting year of college football and our love of fall!
