Description:
Radford University Head Men's Basketball Coach Darris Nichols hosts the Four Day Mini Highlander Basketball Camp starting on Monday, July 15, 2024 and continuing through Thursday, July 18, 2024.

The Mini Highlander Camp will focus on fundamental skill development in a fun, enthusiastic environment. Campers will make friends and word hard while learning and practicing basketball techniques instructed by former and current Highlander players as well as the current coaching staff.

The camp check in time is from 8:00-9:00 AM and check out time is from 12:00-1:00 PM daily. The four day camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

A typical day will include:
• 8:00-9:00 AM: Check-In, Sign-In, Camper Drop-Off, Camper Free Shoot
• 9:00 AM: Greeting, Rules of Camp,Make Teams, Stretching 
• 9:40 AM: Stations such as passing, dribbling, shooting, defensive slides, agility, etc.
• 10:30 AM: Camp Games such as Simon Says, Decision Game, Highlander Tag, etc.
• 11:00 AM: 5 on 5 Games
• 11:50 AM: Team Lines, Present Awards for the Day, Announcements
• 12:00 PM: Dismissal
• 12:00-1:00 PM: Campers can free shoot until parents/guardians pick them up

The camp is open to all, both boys and girls, ages 5-12.

The cost is $125.00 per camper.
