The YMCA at Virginia Tech presents The Y Holiday Village on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Enjoy holiday fun for families! Join us for a joyful seasonal experience designed with families in mind. Meet Santa in the Gallery and take your own photos with Santa and his cheerful elves. There will also be a Kids-Only Holiday Shopping Village where children up to age 12 will be guided by our elves to choose and wrap thoughtful gifts for their family members.

Each child may select up to 6-8 items for 6-8 family members to ensure there’s enough for everyone. Gift items are very affordable, priced between $0.20 and $0.50 each.

A small total fee applies for gifts, payable at the Thrift Shop after your child’s selections are complete. This event is especially welcoming for families on a budget.

No registration required, just come on the day and follow the signage.

Parents are welcome to accompany their children at any time. Comfortable seating will be available along the wall in the same room while kids shop. Children are never taken out of sight of their parents during this event.

Celebrate the season, create memories, and let your kids experience the joy of giving!
