The Town of Blacksburg and Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. present the 2025 Winter Lights Festival and Annual Holiday Parade titled "Holly, Jolly, Holiday Parade" on Friday, December 5, 2025 at multiple locations throughout downtown Blacksburg, VA.

Schedule:
• 3:00-8:00 PM: Holiday Market on College Avenue and Holiday Open Houses at Participating Merchants
• 4:00 PM: Visit with Santa at the Lyric (bring your own camera)
• 4:30 PM: Holiday Spectacular LEAPettes
• 5:00 PM: Blacksburg Children’s Chorale Caroling
• 6:00 PM: Tree Lighting Ceremony at Henderson Lawn
• 6:15 PM: TubaChristmas Concert co-sponsored by the Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and the Department of Music at Virginia Tech on Henderson Lawn Stage
• 7:30 PM: Holiday Parade

Downtown Blacksburg will be a festive, fun packed hub of activity with something for everyone! Come out for an evening of family fun and holiday cheer!

The parade will begin on Main Street at the Turner Street intersection and will follow Main Street through downtown Blacksburg, ending on Eheart Street.

The Holiday Spectacular LEAPettes, Blacksburg Children's Chorale and TubaChristmas will all occur on Henderson Lawn.

Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and the Department of Music at Virginia Tech are proud to present TubaChristmas once again, a fabulous downtown holiday tradition since 2009. All ages and ability levels are welcome. Admission is free to all activities and all are welcome.

In case of rain or snow, the make-up date for the parade is Saturday, December 6th at 7:30 PM.

College Avenue will be closed beginning at 11:00 AM and will reopen at 11:00 PM.
