Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents their Annual Newbern Noel Night and Barn Bazaar on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Event Schedule:
• 4:00-6:00 PM: Barn Bazaar
• 5:00 PM: Dedication Planned for Newly Conserved Carriage House
• 5:00-7:00 PM: Music rom Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge and Snacks

Enjoy the freshly decorated museum by candlelight. Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge will present music from 5:00-7:00 PM. Taste historically inspired snacks along with Great Road Tea and shop for gifts in the 1818 Barn with local crafters. And, help us dedicate the newly conserved mid 19th Century Carriage House and listen to a special Christmas Story from Newbern involving the stage route along the Great Road.

Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge is comprised of Jack Webster, Marya Katz and Charles Bostian. The group performs mostly traditional folk music from the Appalachian and Celtic cultures. Instruments include hammered dulcimer, guitar, flute, bass.
