The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center wraps up their Winter Solstice Workshops on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Join us for the final Winter Solstice Workshops occurring on the first three Saturdays of December. Enjoy a day of creativity and festive cheer!

Workshops include:
• String popcorn & cranberries
• Make Victorian pin prick cards
• Upcycled Christmas Cards: Turn Christmas cards into gift boxes
• Craft your own Christmas cracker (small toy & joke included)

In addition, gather around the tree for photos and a Victorian Santa Claus from 12:00-4:00 PM

Admission is free and no reservation required.

Bring a friend, bring the children or simply bring your festive spirit. We can’t wait to make some winter magic with you!

The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center is located at 204 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
