Beliveau Farm Winery presents Live Music with John Hildreth and his band on Friday, March 18, 2022 as part of the re-opening of Beliveau's brewery.

Enjoy live music from Beliveau's beer brewer John Hildreth and his band.

John Hildreth is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in Southwest Virginia performing throughout the New River Valley and beyond. His live shows combine virtuoso, aggressive acoustic deep-tissue and finger-style guitar with folk, rock, pop and 80s cover songs and eclectic originals.

John is classically trained in guitar and composition, and holds a Master of Arts in Music. His style is sometimes called ‘deep-tissue guitar,’ at points combining acoustic, world, jazz, rock, traditional, Americana and classical genres. In addition to the acoustic guitar, you may also see him playing electric guitar, Spanish/classical guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, piano or melodica.

John is also a studied composer of solo, chamber and electro-acoustic music. His compositions and arrangements have been performed in the United States, Canada and Europe.

In addition to solo performances, he also tours and performs with contra dance band Dot Dot Dash as well as The Completely Smashed Irish Band.

Beliveau Farm is pleased to announce the “Re-Opening” of our Brewery. Originally opened in September of 2019, we’ll be offering specials celebrating our success March 17-20, 2022. Our craft beers are brewed on site using 100% gluten free ingredients, and we proudly offer a small rotating selection on tap and would love to fill your growlers for you to enjoy our beer at home as well.

This beer-centered St. Patrick’s themed event will include a ribbon cutting on Thursday, live music on Friday and Saturday, a beer and cheese pairing on Saturday and Sunday for $29.00++ per person, as well as gluten free food specials and new merch! Our brewer John and owner Yvan will be around to answer questions on our process and explain the nuances of gluten free brewing.

There is no cover charge for the music.
