Lyric Theatre presents the 2nd Annual NRV Youth Film Festival on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
We are excited to announce our second year of the student-run NRV Youth Film Festival and welcome youths from all backgrounds and experiences to submit their work.
Awards:
• Best NRV Experimental Film
• Best Foreign Experimental Film
• Best NRV Narrative Film
• Best Foreign Narrative Film
• Best Documentary
• Best Film
In an area where it is quite difficult to connect with others who share the same passion of the rare yet beautiful artform of film, we hope that our festival can act as an outlet for those who wish to find their voice within the NRV filmmaking community.
Our aim is to celebrate those coming of age who wish to participate in the complex, yet beautiful art of cinema, and contribute to it flourishing in the New River Valley.
Admission is free.
