The Lyric Theatre presents their Live at the Lyric series featuring The Bad Plus on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

The Bad Plus is an American jazz band from Minneapolis, Minnesota that formed in 1989. An acclaimed, genre-bending jazz group, the Bad Plus play a maverick combination of originals and covers that blur the lines between post-bop and rock.

The Bad Plus are the ultimate originals. A democratic unit with a clear vision and a refusal to conform to convention. For the past two decades they have played with spirit and adventure, made their own rules and done so with a bold sense of creativity and intent. Avoiding easy categorization, The Bad Plus has won critical acclaim and a legion of fans worldwide with their unique sound and flair for live performance.

Live At The Lyric is a semi-annual series of live entertainment events at the Lyric Theatre, including music, family events, comedy, theatre and much more! These events are programmed in-house by The Lyric staff to provide the community with a diverse selection of arts entertainment.
