The 2024 Summer Arts Festival kicks of the Free Classic Movies series featuring "The Wizard of Oz" on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at The Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, VA.
The classic "Wizard of Oz" was originally released in 1939 with a rating of PG and stars Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr and Jack Haley.
Synopsis: Dorothy Gale along with her dog Toto is swept away from a farm in Kansas to a magical land of Oz in a tornado and embarks on a quest with her new friends to see the Wizard who can help her return home to Kansas and help her friends as well.
