Monuments Across Appalachian Virginia presents "More Mountain Stories: A Celebration" and Old Time Jam on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at The Lyric Theatre.

Event Schedule:
• 6:00 PM: Solitude Strummers Jam
• 7:00 PM: Premier of Short Film from Nine Monuments Projects

Join us for a free evening of celebrating our nine beautiful projects and the hard work that has put forth over the last few years.

Monuments Across Appalachian Virginia (MAAV) works to reclaim, imagine, document, reinterpret, display, and amplify histories and experiences that highlight collective struggles for the vitality of people and our shared environment, especially by, for, and with people whose stories have been silenced, denied, or excluded.

Guests are encouraged to participate with the Virginia Tech Appalachian Caucus Porch Pickers and jam out kicking off the festivities starting at 6:00 PM.

Admission is free.

The Lyric Theatre is located at 135 College Avenue in Blacksburg, VA.
