Blacksburg Community Strings presents their Fall Concert on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Christiansburg High School Auditorium.

Enjoy live classical and pop orchestral music presented by the Blacksburg Community Strings and Chamber Orchestra during their Fall 2022 concert. Selections include: Mozart Symphony 25, Crusell CLarinet Concerto 2, Back to the Future Medley, and Pharrell Williams 'Happy' arranged for orchestra.

Free and open to the public.

The Blacksburg Community Strings (BCS), a community ensemble of violin, viola, cello and string bass players, was formed in October 1999 and had its debut public performance in December 1999. It is made up of middle and high school students, avocational community players, and active and retired professionals.

BCS welcomes string players of all ages and abilities from Blacksburg and the surrounding region. All members are volunteers. There are no dues or fees. No auditions are required. Requirements: Your love of music and your willingness to work hard!
