New River Community College's Concert Series presents a Free Music Event featuring The Bluegrass Kinsmen and Gap Civil on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at New River Community College's Edwards Hall located on their Dublin, VA campus.

Gap Civil is an old time band from Sparta, NC. We love playing square dances and for community events.

The Bluegrass Kinsmen are a bluegrass band based in Southwestern Virginia and have been around for over 40 years picking bluegrass. The band performs a variety of bluegrass songs, mostly traditional, but also some folk and gospel music.

"I've been associated with Ebby Jewell and The Bluegrass Kinsmen off and on for almost 30 years. Ebby Jewell is such a pioneer of Southwest Virginia's bluegrass musical heritage, not to mention one of the most talented people I know." -- Darrell Webb

Admission is free and all are welcome though donations will be accepted to help with travel expenses for the musicians.

Doors open at 5:00 PM and the music begins at 6:00 PM.

The Concert Series events are held the second Saturday of each month, October through April at New River Community College's 117 Edwards Hall in Dublin, VA, a Crooked Road affiliated venue.
