The Institute For Creativity, Arts, and Technology presents their Annual ICAT Creativity and Innovation Day on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Moss Arts Center.
The Institute of Creativity, Arts, and Technology has been hosting an annual celebration of creativity and innovation by students and faculty through a public showcase in the Moss Arts Center for a decade now. This year’s theme is "Beyond" where we will focus on the kinds of work people do beyond a transdisciplinary education, how disciplines and identity are intertwined, and how that can help and transform.
We encourage you to join us for a full day of inspiring interactions and fun at the intersections of science, engineering, arts, and design with of about 24 innovative research projects on display. The day will include a panel discussion, a variety of incredible exhibits, and more.
ICAT Day invites the Virginia Tech community and the public to experience these ongoing works and ask questions of the people making them possible.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Paid parking is available in the North End Parking Garage on Turner Street. Virginia Tech has also partnered with ParkMobile to provide a convenient, contactless electronic payment option for parking, which may be used at any parking meter, campus parking space, or lot with standard F/S, C/G, or R parking.
