As part of the 2024 Mary Draper Ingles Festival, Ingles Castle hosts tours of the historic property on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

See the historic Ingles Castle! Walk the castle grounds and take in views of the New River. La Riviere, also known as Ingles Castle, stands as a monument to the entrepreneurial legacy of the Ingles Family in the New River Valley. Learn about the life of Captain Billy Ingles who built the castle and is Mary Draper Ingles' great-grandson.

This is a great opportunity to see and learn the history of historic places not typically open to the public.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults and children 12 & under are free with a paid adult admission.

Tours last for 30 minutes.

All proceeds from castle tours are going to fund the repair of the castle's roof.

The 2024 Mary Draper Ingles Festival commemorating the capture, escape and the grueling return journey to her home in the New River Valley of one of Virginia’s most famous colonial heroines taking place July 26-28, 2024 in the City of Radford and surrounding communities.
