The AARP Blacksburg in collaboration with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation presents the 2024 AARP Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

The Health & Wellness Fair 2024 features over 80 exhibitors, blood drive and is free and open to the public. The fair has so much to offer from door prizes and health screenings to free information and demonstrations.

Activities include:
• Health Screenings, vaccinations, "Ask the Pharmacist"
• Information: medical, financial, legal, mental health, healthy homes
• Demonstrations: Master Gardeners, Qigong, Speedy healthy cooking
• Seminar on aging: Dr. Michael Friedlander, VT-Carilion Research Institute • Get your photo taken with Dolly Parton!

There will be over 50 door prizes, giveaways and much, much more!

There will also be a blood drive with The Blood Connection where donors will be given $40 in rewards.

All ages are welcome.

The Christiansburg Recreation Center is located at 1600 North Franklin St in Christiansburg, VA.
