Radford University continues their new "Provost’s Speaker Series" with an event titled "Building Bridges Through Music: The Transformative Power of Music in Early Childhood Education and Child Development" on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 on the Main Stage of the Artist Center Main Stage on the campus of Radford University.

Explore the profound impact of music on early childhood development and how it strengthens connections across cognitive, emotional and social learning domains. Learn how evidence-based approaches are guiding the development of curricula that harness music’s power to support and enrich early learning experiences, transforming early education today. Led by Radford University Department of Music Professor Jennifer McDonel.

These discussions feature Radford University’s talented faculty who share their research, creative projects, professional experiences and insights in an engaging and accessible way. Each talk will last approximately 30 minutes with a question-and-answer session to follow.

Casual dress, no tickets or registration required, and everyone is welcome.

Best of all, the Provost’s Speaker Series and the parking are both free.
