Floyd CARE presents their Sixth Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park in Floyd, VA.

4:00-4:45 PM: Welcome and Music by Jerome Claytor & TOC
4:45-5:15 PM: Speech by Dr. Brandy Faulkner on the Voting Rights Act
5:15-5:45 PM: Music by Jerome Claytor & TOC
5:45-6:15 PM: Music by Little River Missionary Baptist Church, Presentation on the Freedom Quilt
6:15-7:00 PM: Music by Jerome Claytor & TOC
Celebrating the freedom and resiliency of Black and African American communities in Appalachia and beyond! We will have music by Jerome Claytor and Touch of Class, songs, kids activities, speakers, information tables, vendors and more. Cieara Saunders will serve as the MC.
Our events are always free and open to the public.
Come share in the education and celebration!
