Venture Out is the resource center for outdoor excursions at Virginia Tech provide exciting, safe, and educational outdoor services to the students, faculty/staff, and community of Blacksurg. Specializing in exciting outdoor adventures, quality rental gear at unbeatable rates, and valuable resources to help you plan the perfect adventure.
Venture Out offers extensive outdoor resources on local, regional, and national recreation opportunities. We have a variety of brochures and books on hiking, backpacking, and camping in the New River Valley including information on all of the Virginia State Parks and National Forest.
Venture Out’s knowledgeable staff can provide you with personal advice to help you with your next adventure.
