The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Conrad Cavalry is a military riding unit that serves as an equestrian team and cavalry drill unit, in honor of Thomas N. Conrad, former president of Virginia Tech and expert horseman.
Their mission is to revive the old Virginia Tech horse cavalry, serve and represent Virginia Tech and the Corps of Cadets as an equestrian team and cavalry drill unit, cultivate the virtues of humility, excellence in moral character, military bearing and leadership.
