Biography:
The Contemporary Dance Ensemble (CDE) at Virginia Tech has been Virginia Tech's institution of artistic expression, innovation and collaboration since 1990. We pride ourselves in our diverse technique including contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, ballet, tap and pointe. Our passion for pushing boundaries and challenging ourselves through these varieties and combinations of dance is what makes CDE truly unique.
CDE has two major performances a year at the end of each semester. We also participate and perform in university and community events throughout the year. In addition, we hold weekly classes open to the public.
