New River Fireflies (Band)
Biography:
The New River Fireflies is a band comprised of four women who met when playing together at local jams.
Ginger Wagner and Kristie Caddick met at a Gillie's jam and since that time have played together on banjo and bass for 12 years in the Indian Run Stringband.
Aran Garnett-Deakin is an amazing young fiddler who is a regular at the Market Square jam, local parties, and last summer at the Blacksburg Tavern jam.
Ash Devine is an accomplished local singer, songwriter and musician who is often playing at local jams and provides strong backup, rhythm guitar for the Fireflies.
