The Fashion Merchandising and Design Society at Virginia Tech (Collegiate Club)
Biography:
The Fashion Merchandising and Design Society at Virginia Tech is a student led organization that gives students the opportunities to get involved and to get connected! The society is open to all majors and is a great way to meet people who share common interests. VT FMDS provides exceptional networking opportunities such as internship workshops, keynote speakers and trips to New York City and Washington D.C. for various fashionable occasions.
Each year FMDS proudly produces a live fashion show for the Virginia Tech campus, which gives members HANDS ON EXPERIENCE in show production, fashion design, runway modeling, and more.
The society also supports various philanthropies including Help Save the Next Girl and the Christiansburg High School fashion marketing program, which gives members the opportunity to give back to our surrounding communities.
