The Summer Arts Festival presents a Kid's Shakespeare Workshop on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at The Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, VA.

The Summer Arts Festival is proud to collaborate with professional Shakespeare Theatre Troupe, The Rustic Mechanicals. This workshop is designed for students ages 10 and up who are interested in exploring the stage through acting, Shakespeare, and improvisation.

Take a trip behind the scenes with this lecture / demo workshop that explores The Rustic Mechanicals bring our performance scripts from the page to the stage using Shakespeare's staging conditions from 400 years ago.

Admission is free though registration is required.
